George Kosteletos was born in 1975 in Athens. He has a bachelor’s degree in Physics(1999, Department of Physics, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), a Master’s degree in Music Technology (2001, Music Department, University of York, UK) and a PHD in the Philosophy of Mind, Artificial Intelligence and Art (2011, sector of Philosophy, Department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology, School of Philosophy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) . He also has a piano diploma and a degree of higher musical theory and counterpoint. He has been teaching aspects of Cognitive Science in postgraduate level for the last five years.  From 2011 to 2015 he taught Neuro-ethics in the postgraduate course of Ethics (sector of Philosophy, department of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology, School of Philosophy, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) as well as Philosophy of Mind and Artificial Intelligence in a Ministry’s of Education Life Learning Program for university graduates. Since 2015 he has been teaching Music Cognition in the Music Technology Postgraduate Program of the Music Department of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens School of Philosophy. Apart from teaching Philosophy in university level, George has been teaching Physics in high-school students since 2001. From 2012 to 2014 he participated in the Do.Re.Mat. project, an international project funded by the European Community, aiming at the development of teaching methods of Mathematics via Music for 15-16years old high school students. His scientific interests involve, among others, the cognitive dimension of Music and the examination of the philosophical aspects of modern research and practice in the field of Music Technology.
